Taylor Maddox is the twin brother of Tyler Maddox. He is the 2nd oldest Maddox brother. He the lead male character of the Maddox Brothers series Beautiful Sacrifice. He was a student of Eastern State University, and was a part of the fraternity Sig Tau. He helped to create The Circle with his twin brother, the underground fighting ring held in the basements of buildings on Eastern State University. He moved to Colorado with his twin brother to join the Alpine hotshot crew. However, his family believes that he sells insurance, as they made a promise to their father to not go into the line of service as it was their mother's dying wish. He has a strong bond with his brothers. He tends to solves his issues with fighting.
Taylor met his wife Falyn at her place of employment Bucksaw Restaurant in Colorado Springs. As with all the other Maddox Brother's he started out being "just friends" with Falyn and then fell in love with her. Becoming protective of her and jealous of any man wanting to be near her or touch her. He brought Falyn back home to meet his family in Eakins Illinois, helping her fulfill her dream of making a memory with the daughter she gave up for adoption. While Falyn and Taylor where on a "break", Taylor believed they were broken up for good. So he tried to mend his broken heart by visiting Thomas in California. Where he slept with someone he met at the bar and ended up getting her pregnant. Falyn found out and was devastated, breaking things off with Taylor for approx. 2 months. He tried to get her back by frequently visiting the restaurant she worked at. One night Taylor was trapped by the fire on the mountain and his crew had to seek cover underground by making tunnels. This had Falyn worried and concerned, spending all night awake waiting for him to make it back alive to his hotel. Falyn then decided to go to work to keep her mind busy, and shortly after Taylor arrived when he heard she was waiting up all night for him. They reconciled, having a baby girl of their own 4 months after Taylor's son Hollis was born. They eventually got married.

Taylor is an identical twin of Tyler. They often get confused for each other, such when Falyn misaked Tyler for Taylor and kissed Tyler at Cowboy's bar. Like his brothers, excluding Thomas, Taylor is described as lean and muscular, with sort buzzed hair and covered in tattoos. Having the exact same tattoo's of his twin brother, making them even harder to tell apart. He has buzzed brown hair and brown eyes. Like Travis, Trenton and Tyler, he has his mother's name on his left forearm.
